Accelerometer:

A piece of gear about the size of a Marconi "Hi-Fi" which measures changes on a molecular level. It sports a snout shaped sensor and a variety of handles and switches.

Background Radiation Monitor:

About the size of an oscilloscope. Stationary model includes a semi-portable black cone-shaped probe connected to the device as well as a processor and imaging screen. This monitors normal and abnormal background radiation baselines and fluctuations. The screen shows a wavy image until unexplainable fluctuations and displacements make the image implode. Changes in the images serve as valuable indicators to our team members that the auditory, visual tactile, psychic or actual kinetic activity is from a paranormal event.

Bore Scope:

A very small lens mounted at the end of a thin cable which can be changed to various lengths, enabling the investigators to see into areas of structures, geophysical formations or into any high inaccessible area. The image has a slight "fisheye" quality.

EMF/ELF/RF Survey Meter:

An electronic apparatus survey with the shape and size of a tennis racket used with a sweeping motion. Digital readings appear near the handle, measuring electromagnetic frequencies from electrical from sources, radio frequencies and related surges.

Hazcat Kit:

The Hazcat Kit is designed specifically for use by emergency response teams for on-site identification and classification of virtually any unknown spilled or abandoned material - liquid or solid. Now an emergency response team can quickly identify, control and stabilize any potentially hazardous situation and eliminate sending away materials for costly laboratory analysis.

Laser Scanning System:

Mounted, stationary laser beams, scan the environment for alterations in ground vibration and electromagnetic spectrum on a screen as a three dimensional image of interwoven matrices fluctuates with a ripple effect when disturbed or altered.

Magnetometers:

This device includes a screen and stationary probe-like sensor. Raging from a portable unit to a large stationary piece of equipment. Designed to measure certain aspects of the magnetic spectrum. Fluctuations in this spectrum are common in coincidence with anomalous activity.

Microwave Imaging:

This equipment consists of pairs of round semi-portable, tripod-mounted microwave dishes hard-wired to mid-sized processing and relaying devices providing two and three dimensional images via computer of alterations, displacement and fluctuations in this area of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Multiplying ION Chamber Survey Meter:

A metal lunch box sized squaring piece of gear which measures different kinds of long and short lived radiation. It has a switch, a handle and it spits a crackling status sound when in operation.

Night Vision Technology:

Next generation technology allows investigators to function in the dark for surveillance and security. It provides a grainy green tinted image and is comprised mostly of outlines and shadows. In appearance it can be an extended monocular lens secured to the head with straps. Lenses can burn out immediately when exposed to light, even flashlights.

P.L. Accelerator (Nuclear Particle Accelerator):

About the size of a large coffin and is an occasionally used and usually effective at eradicating certain kinds of phenomena. A serious piece of gear which pulses short lived plumes of radiation. Once set to go off, investigators have precious seconds to clear the area. This can be problematic where the P.L. accelerator is used in an office building or a structure that is difficult to exit quickly and freely.

PORI Electrostatic Sensors:

Small, hand held devices, roughly the size of a micro sized T.V. set. It indicates electro-static increases.

Portable Air Sampler:

A metal pole with a small cup like configuration at one end used for sample acquisition and instant analysis.

Spectral Photometer:

A relatively large, sophisticated device analyzes changes in the visible and near-visible light spectrum. Determine whether visual phenomena is real of if the phenomenon is a purely subjective experience. Provides digital readouts of data.

Stationary Thermography Equipment:

The size of a cube refrigerator but much heavier and shaped roughly like a camera. Monitors and measures heat fluctuations in the environment and shows the area in a variety of colors. Seen through the device, people glow red and orange. Water, ice and psychic "cold spots" throw off black. Hues of purple and magenta show inanimate objects.

Surveillance Cam:

Variously-sized cameras mounted on O.S.I.R. fleet vehicles including the Mobile Lab, in briefcases and other innocuous objects or on the investigators themselves.

Thermovision Camera:

A portable device in two small sizes and shapes: one looks like a Beta Cam, the other unit is the size of a Polaroid Instamatic. They have eyepieces and display thermographic images in larger screens in site or in a nearby mobile lab. The larger versions are slightly unwieldy and weighty.

In addition to this equipment, another 30% of the equipment used by the O.S.I.R. is their own proprietary technology and is designed and built by their own in-house team of technical engineers.
