Peter Axon

peter (13K)

Peter Axon is the chief science analyst for the O.S.I.R. He's an outspoken scientist with a daring approach to his profession. Once a true skeptic, Peter now realizes that not all things are as what they seem and anything is possible. Still, he always looks first for a scientific solution to every case.

"Axon is a highly ambitious person, and was devastated when he was passed over as Case Manager," says Hope. "He's come to realize that his former attitude toward his work has to change, and he's more willing to walk a dangerous line to prove himself."

Passed over as Case Manager due to the hiring of Praeger, Peter Axon is torn between staying with his colleagues at the O.S.I.R. or accepting a lucrative offers from the private industry. His relationship with Praeger, is full of friction, but also governed by a grudging respect. Axon's work is his life and as determined as Praeger to find scientific solutions to terrifying phenomena.

As a small town boy who worked his way through MIT, Axon's zeal for the truth can make him cross the line in an investigation. Sometimes he tests relationships with team members as he continues to try to prove himself as Case Manager material. He is very outspoken and always takes his work seriously no matter how far-fetched his theories are. He tries to use all his power to find the truth through science even if all odds are against him challenging the easy explanation, and unafraid to investigate the unobvious.
