She's an independent spirit who is quite capable of taking care of herself.

"[Mia Stone] is an incredibly skilled parapsychologist who looks younger than her actual age but has quite a history of life experiences," says JoAnne Vannicola. "I've had a young career and have been taking care of myself - surviving - so our histories are close."

Fresh out of college, Mia Stone joined the O.S.I.R. in hopes that she can make a difference in the world. At the age of fourteen Mia's parents passed away and she has been on her own ever since. Dispite her early entrance to adulthood, she's never let her age become an obsticle. Taking advantage of her above-average intelligence, Mia faught her way to be accepted into the prestigious school in Edinburgha, Scotland and excelled in her studies.

Discovered by Matt Praeger, who asked her to join the investigative group, Mia finds that two of the team members, Donner and Axon are a little apprehensive about her involvement and contribution to the team due to her tender years.
