Lindsay Donner

Daughter of a Nobel Prize-winning chemist, Lindsay Donner rejected her silver spoon upbringing to live in the "real" world, traveling widely to learn about world cultures. Her insatiable curiosity and thrill-seeking personality sometimes make her seem mercurial. Highly independent, always challenging her fears, she'll use any tactic to get to the heart of a case.

"Although Donner comes from a very wealthy and privileged background, she can put on a backpack and travel the world to live with people in their own cultures in order to study their traditions, customs and legends," says Nancy Anne Sakovich. "She's fascinated by mysticism, mythology and how the 'supernatural' is intertwined with everyday lives."

Lindsay Donner is the O.S.I.R.'s chief data analyst, a self-described "hunter and gatherer of information" for the team. Donner believes sociology, anthropology and behavioral psychology can solve most mysteries. She is a vibrant, passionate and involved field expert who uses her scientific and academic background in her unyielding commitment to discovering the truth.

She has a double master's in psychology and biology. She is smart zealous, and continually questions the O.S.I.R.'s secretive practices as demonstrated by her in the last episode of the second season (#222- "The Egress"). She is constantly testing her scientific and academic skills as she is always determined to find the truth through every case presented to her and the team.

Nancy Anne Sakovich: the actress

Nancy Anne Sakovich was born on April 13, 1962 in Belleville, Ontario. She graduated from Trent University in 1981 with a degree in biology. Nancy was later discovered by the Elite Modeling Agency. For three years dhe traveled the world as an international model, moving first to New York, then settling in Europe where she graced covers and runways in Germany, Italy, France and England.

Later Sakovich turned to acting and found roles in Jesse the Body Ventura, Golden Will, Relic Hunter, Queer as Folk, The Crooked E: The Unshredded Truth About Enron, Category 6: Day of Destruction, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Destiny Ridge, Hollywood Off-Ramp, Coast to Coast, The Eleventh Hour and Doc.

Nancy is an admitted fitness fanatic enjoying many activities including horse back riding, tennis, rock climbing, ice climbing and cardiovascular and weight training. The six foot, brown hair, hazel eye, Sakovich currently resides in Toronto, Ontario.
