Curtis Rollins
Case Manager, Curtis Rollins graduated from Stanford at the top of his class specializing in mathematics and chemistry. A family man, father of two, he escaped the plight of the inner city through sheer grit and hard work. Not one to rest on his laurels of relax in the security of his position at the O.S.I.R., Rollins' motto is "why wait for tomorrow if it can be done today?" Unfortunately, his dedication to the O.S.I.R. takes precious time away from his wife and children.
Curtis is a behavioral scientist who spent several years with the F.B.I. as a profiler before coming to the O.S.I.R. While there he played a priciple role in the case of the White Crow Killer. This case became Curtis' obsession for years even after he joined the O.S.I.R. In case #20-6132 (episode #116 "The Light") Rollins was once again faced with the case that went unsolved for so long and in the midst of an O.S.I.R. investigation as well. The in-the-field experience and skills he aquired during these cases caused Curtis to be ever more dedicated and detail attentive in future cases and reminded him that the experiencer must always come first.
Maurice Dean Wint: the actor
Maurice is a graduate from York University with a bachelor degree of Fine Arts in Drama. He was born in England and moved to Canada in the late 60's.
Among his many works, Maurice is involved in the "Mandela and the Children" project. This organization assists disadvantaged children or youth in South Africa living with neglect, orphanisum, and homelessness by way of financial aid. The project also works to inform the public on the situations children in South Africa face ever day with social, economic and educational hardships.
Maurice was a Dora Award nominee for best actor in a dramatic performance and in 2002 a Gemini nominee for best performance by an actor in a continuing leading dramatic role for Blue Murder, episode Death and Taxes. Wint has been on several television programs including RoboCop: Prime Directives, The Outer Limits, Burnt Toast, A Taste of Shakespeare, The Circuit, ReGenesis and Due South.
