FAQ: Answering your Questions

Q: I think I've had a paranormal experience, how can I be sure?

A: Remember, some (but not all) paranormal experiences have a natural explanation. To build a case try ruling out other common possibilities.

According to Occam's razor - sometimes called the principle of parsimony - (and referenced on the show by Peter Axon) "plurality should not be posited without necessity." This is to say "the simpler the explanation, the better" or "don't multiply hypotheses unnecessarily." If there is a simpler, or more common explanation along side a supernatural one, Occam's razor suggests that we accept the first in scientific principle.

It is by ruling out the common that will give your paranormal claim credence and possibly peace of mind. Be critical and decisive when looking at the evidence.
