Over the course of the show, Psi Factor had many things happening off camera and behind the scenes. Here is an archived list of awards, merchandise, media and other releases during Psi Factor's four season run. During the first season, the show held a quiz based contest online at PsiFactor.com. On Tuesday January 14, 1997 fans had the opportunity to be one of 20 winners randomly chosen who correctly answer the ten question quiz. This book contains pictures and stories of the first 15 episodes during season one for "Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal". Along with Dan Aykroyd's prologues/epilogues from the show, these stories go a little further having a more in depth story line. More about the book:
Starting in 1997, three DVD/VHS sets of Psi Factor containing
episodes from the first season were released in Japan. Dubbed in Japanese,
these episodes showcased the original cast on 12 separately sold disks/tapes.

In the spring of 1998, Brett Sullivan was nominated for and won a Gemini award under "Best Picture Editing in a Dramatic Program or Series". The award was given for his work on episode #106 "The Infestation". Other nominees for this category were Denis Papillon, Dominique Fortin and John Soh for "Hiroshima", Ronald Sanders for "Dead Silence", Gordon McClellan for "Giant Mine", and Eric Goddard for "Peacekeepers".
Also that year, Psi Factor's Liam Ball and Robert Armes were nominated under "Best Original Music Score - Drama Series" category again for the PF episode, "The Infestation". Others nominated for this category included Black Harbour's Claude Desjardins and Eric Robertson, F/X: The Series's Christopher Beck, Flash Forward's Paul Inston, and Four Directions' John Kim Bell.
Psi Factor became a regular segment on the syndicated show, "The Edge of Reality", in 1998. T.E.R. was a weekend 3-hour call-in radio show about the paranormal hosted by Ken Dashow and featured a taped segment from Dan Aykroyd. "Returning Favorites: Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal"
September 5, 1998Dan Aykroyd returns to host a third season of creepy tales based on real-life X-Files from the non-governmental Office of Scientific Investigation and Research, located somewhere in California. High lights include holiday episodes resolving around Valentines Day, St Patrick's Day and, of course, Halloween, when Linda Blair is the guest star in a story about - what else? - demonic possession. Other installments feature Fred "The Hammer" Williamson as an obnoxious talk-show host, and Graham Greene ("Dances with Wolves") as a small town doctor who stumbles upon a militia group that may be plotting a terrorist attack with chemical weapons.
In the fall of 1998, Michael Moriarty was nominated for a Gemini award for his work on Psi Factor in the "Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series" category. Unfortunately, Mr. Moriarty's performance did not win. The winning nominee was Kris Lemche for his performance in "Emily of New Moon".
During the second season of Psi Factor, Psifactor.com held a weekly internet contest for three weeks. Starting the week of November 3, 1998, fans answered questions from that night's episode getting the chance to win Psi Factor prizes, such as the first week's winner who won a VHS copy and a signed script of that week's episode, "All Hallows Eve" and a years supply of Halloween candy from Nestle (Butterfinger, Nestle's Crunch or Baby Ruth). In 1999, during the show's third season, fans could buy Psi Factor merchandise through the CBS store and online at PsiFactor.com. The collectables offered included a Tee Shirt, Baseball Cap, and Mug all price ranging from $8.95 to $18.95.
November 7, 1999, Peter Blais was nominated for his guest role in Psi Factor’s season three premiere "Jaunt." In the category "Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series," Peter Blais a.k.a L.Q. Cooper was nominated along with Michael Sarrazin, Shawn Doyle, Timothy Webber, and (winner) Gordon Pinsent for "Power Play."
Psi Factor was Nominated for a Saturn Award in the "Best Genre Cable/Syndicated Series" category in 1999. Other Nominees included; "The Outer Limits," "Sliders," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Stargate SG-1" and the winner "Babylon 5."
In 1999, Psi Factor was nominated for a CSC "Best Cinematography in TV Series" Award for John Holosko's work in episode #313 "Solitary Confinement". Other nominees were "Emily of New Moon" and "Rescuers: Stories of Courage: Two Families".
November 1999, TNT bought the exclusive US rerun rights to Psi Factor. The deal, with an $7.5 million price tag, also included the show's companion website, PsiFactor.com. The show ran on TNT beginning in the fall of 2000, five nights a week in the early evening.
Psi Factor was spoofed on the internet based 'Fat Jesus' comic strip in the fall of 2000. Starting Thursday, November 30, the spoof was part of the 'Fat Jesus' plot line for several weeks featuring spoofs of Connor Doyle, Lindsay Donnor, Peter Axon, Matt Praeger, Anton Hendricks and host Dan Aykroyd. In 2000, Psi Factor's season three was released on DVD in the UK. These DVDs feature Interactive Menus, Scene Access, Cast Interviews, and Trailers. Released by Clear Vision Studios, the DVD series included seven separately sold disks each running about two hours and 15 minutes long.
July 12, 2005, Psi Factor's season one was released for pre-sale in Germany
and Astria. With audio in German and English, the boxed set included six disks
running 990 minutes, containing special features and sold for about $39,99 EUR
(about $47.73 USD).
Released March 15, 2006, the second season of Psi Factor: Chronicles of the
Paranormal hit the market in a five disk, boxed set. Pricing began around
$39,99 EUR (about $47.73 USD) and disk play is 946 minutes. Also includes
special features.
On Jun 22, 2006, the third season of Psi Factor: Chronicles of the
Paranormal was released in a five disk, boxed set. Pricing began around
$42,99 EUR (about $60.79 USD) and disk lenght is 876 minutes.
The last and final season of Psi Factor was released on dvd November 10,
2006. As with the other dvd sets, this set included five disks with 967 minutes
in running time. Pricing began around $44,99 EUR (about $63.64 USD).
